Missing Projects After Update
If you cannot see your projects after a recent PlayCode update, this guide will help you restore them. Your projects are safe and stored securely - this is a temporary cache synchronization issue.
Quick Fix: Logout and Login
The fastest solution that works for most users is to logout and login again. This refreshes your local cache and syncs your projects properly.
- Open dashboard
- Select Account from the menu
- Scroll down and click Logout
- Sign in again with your email
- Your projects should now appear
Note: Your projects are stored on our servers and are not lost. This process simply refreshes your local data.
Alternative: Clear Browser Cache
If logging out and back in doesn't help, try clearing your browser cache:
Chrome / Edge
- Open DevTools (F12 or Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + I)
- Go to the Application tab
- Click on Storage in the left sidebar
- Select all checkboxes:
- Unregister service workers
- Local and session storage
- IndexedDB
- Cookies
- Cache storage
- Click Clear site data
- Refresh the page and sign in again
Firefox
- Open DevTools (F12)
- Go to the Storage tab
- Right-click on playcode.io
- Select Delete All
- Refresh and sign in again
Safari
- Go to Safari → Settings → Privacy
- Click Manage Website Data
- Search for "playcode.io"
- Click Remove
- Refresh PlayCode and sign in again
Still Having Issues?
If none of the above solutions work:
- Try accessing PlayCode in an incognito/private window
- Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
- Check if you're signed into the correct account
Important: Your projects are safe on our servers. This is only a local synchronization issue and can be resolved without data loss.
