How to change your email

Update your PlayCode account email address from the account settings using a secure two-step verification process.

Steps to change your email

1. Go to the Dashboard
2. Click Account in the sidebar
3. Find the Email Address section
4. Click Change Email
5. Enter your new email address
6. Click Send Confirmation Code
7. Check your new email inbox for a confirmation code
8. Paste the confirmation code (format: alpha-beta-gamma-delta)
9. Click Confirm Email Change

Important notes

• Check your spam folder if you don't see the confirmation email
• Code expires in 10 minutes
• Email must be unique - cannot be used by another account
• You'll stay logged in after changing your email

Troubleshooting

Didn't receive the confirmation email

• Check your spam/junk folder
• Verify you entered the correct email address
• Click "Send Confirmation Code" again to request a new code

The email is already taken

The email is already used by another PlayCode account. You may have multiple accounts using different sign-in methods (Google, GitHub, email).
